I've always been drawn to the human figure — the uniqueness, separateness and connectedness of each individual — a glance into the sovereignty of their life. The human figure speaks louder to me than any other creation. The story I wish to tell is about life, and the beauty expressed through the human experience.

I prefer painting alla prima.  When I paint, I step into a world where nothing exists but the moment of a painting’s creation.  Staying in this encapsulated world for the duration allows me to become one with my subject, listening to their unique voice.
